The Red Sox continued their sweeping ways by capturing both the Cy Young and MVP honors for the 2010 GPMABL season.
Eric Guise, known for his funny and random pre-game pep talks, earned the 2010 GPMABL Cy Young Award. Eric was a perfect 12-0 on the season, with a 1.48 ERA and league leading 105 strikeouts in 75.2 innings.
Cleanup hitter Jason Williams took home the 2010 GPMABL MVP Honors with a career season. He lead the league in Batting Average (0.492), Doubles (10), Triples (5), Slugging Percentage (0.857) and OPS (1.385).Congratulations to Eric and Jason!
Way to go guys!!! I was browsing around, and I stumbled across the Sox's new website...and it was great to see some former teammates (Brett, Bret, Wit, Bill, J-Dub, Stevie McD), not only still having at it, but winning the whole friggin' thing! congrats boys...
